I am sure many of you have already seen me at the Club, but I would love to introduce myself. My name is Andie Hall and I am originally from Easthampton, Massachusetts. I joined the GHYC events team at the beginning of the 2021 summer season. Since becoming a year-round islander this winter, I have been exploring the island’s natural beauty and having fun cooking meals at home. This year, I am honored to be taking the role of Social Event Manager at Great Harbor. I will be working closely with Cheryl Woodford and the social committee to create unique and fun experiences for all. From Daffy through Stroll, I promise to create a social calendar that offers opportunities to make lifelong memories with family and friends. My skills and passion for hospitality started early in my life while I worked at my family’s restaurant in Western Massachusetts. I spent this time learning all aspects of the restaurant industry from food preparation to expediting dinner service as well as guest relations. From there, I moved on to earn a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst’s Isenberg School of Business with a minor in Psychology. After graduation, my eagerness to start my career off on the right foot brought me to the island of Nantucket. For my first two seasons at the Club, my natural affinity for leadership was honed under the wing of Sarah Storie. I’m excited to continue sharing my passion for events with GHYC this summer and for years to come. Cheers to 2023!
