Corey is our Director of Fishing. He is known around the island as one of its leading fishermen, renowned for his energy, passion, and enthusiasm for all things fishing and Nantucket. Corey joined the GHYC team in 2008 as the Club's first fishing director. His connection to the island started when he came to work as a summer mate on a fishing boat in 1998.

Corey has been a teacher for the last 15 years and is also a decorated coach at the youth and high school level. Corey extends his fishing season in Nantucket waters as long as he can before returning to Connecticut to teach and spend more time with his wife Jen and son James, born in the fall 2016.
