FITNESS & PERSONAL TRAINING
Our Personal trainers are looking forward to working with members to achieve their individual fitness goals. Whether you benefit from one on one training or prefer to gather friends to help you stay motivated, we can develop a program suited just for you.
We are pleased to be able to offer a wide variety of classes this summer: Spin, ZUMBA, water aerobics and the addition of a TRX training room.

Youth Summer Fitness Program
New this year! The Sports ability Program is geared for children 8-12 with beginner to moderate athletic ability wanting to learn fundamentals of sports. This program is geared towards individuals with beginner to moderate athletic ability wanting to learn the fundamentals of a wide variety of sports. Offered Tues and Thurs, 12 -1 pm.

Athletic Performance Training Program is geared for the 13- 20 year old athlete keep allow them to keep their competitive edge over the summer. This comprehensive program is for athletes of all sports. Workouts include Stretching and Flexibility, Core Strength, Speed Development, linear and lateral movement, Balance and Agility. Offered MWF 4:30-5:30.
Youth Sport Specific Training Program
This Personalized custom program designed for athlete's maximum growth. Training is performed in a one on one or small group setting which enables flexible training through which an athlete's skill development and confidence flourishes. Specialties include but are not limited to: lacrosse, soccer, field hockey, cross-country, football, volleyball, basketball and ice hockey. Private Sessions booked by the half hour or hour at the Sports barn.

Note: Children between 14 and 15 may use the GHYC Fitness Center with a program specified by their athletic coach/trainer. The Club requires that each athlete take part in at least one session with a GHYC trainer to set up their program on our equipment. This is a safety issue. A parent must accompany any child under the age of 16 while training in the Fitness Center. Please contact the Fitness Front Desk and 2010 Member Handbook for details.
Members can pre-register for all classes and programs subject to cancelation policy.
